Arthur Brown is a Concept Designer with a focus on instrumentation and driver HMI within Continental’s Interior Division in North America. In this role, Brown supports research, design and development for future products and technologies that enable improved and holistic human-machine interactions.
Joining Continental in 2009, Brown has contributed to the development of several production instrumentation programs. His responsibilities have expanded from instrument cluster styling and screen content development for information displays, to innovation management and the HMI community, with an emphasis on identifying user needs and validating solutions.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama, Huntsville and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies. He also studied Innovation and Design Management at the Kendall College of Art and Design, as well as Human Factors at the University of Michigan.
Brown lives in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
