Christopher Nowakowski is a UX Project Manager at Valeo working to define the next generation of intuitive driving experiences as the automotive industry navigates revolutions in automation, connectivity, and electrification. My role at Valeo is to facilitate creativity and problem solving in multidisciplinary teams composed of engineers, programmers, and designers.
I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of automotive topics over the years from testing navigation system usability to drafting Automated Driving System (ADS) regulations. I’ve conducted UX research on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and built proof-of-concepts exploring the bounds of Augmented Reality (AR) / Mixed Reality (MR) / and Virtual Reality (VR) in the automotive space.
Throughout my career, UX has remained the lens through which I see the world. Just as sailors study the wind and waves, we need to study users. User pain points are opportunities for innovation, and many great technologies have stalled without a compelling user experience. Every opportunity to test with users, is an opportunity to trim your sails and pick up speed!
