She is accountable for the feedback and intuitiveness of user interfaces within vehicle and infotainment systems, focusing on feedback, messaging, auditory signals, intuitiveness, functional grouping, and feature logic. Yovela ensures that system logic aligns with customer functional objectives, electrical engineering specifications, and graphical assets, while also validating feature logic in collaboration with HMI validation teams. Yovela is passionate about human factors, ergonomics, UX, and UI, and thrives in challenging environments.

Hala is a UX Researcher and Human-Centered Engineer at Nissan North America, currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Engineering with a focus on automotive systems and mobility at the University of Michigan. She blends expertise in psychology, social science, and design to create user-centered experiences that meet both physical and psychological needs in the automotive space. Her work bridges research and innovation, driving the development of intuitive, future-ready mobility solutions.
