Every Test platform have four basic process steps: Requirement Analysis, Designing Test Cases and Configuring, Executing Test cases, Reporting and Analysis. A strong test platform shall be able to decrease the configuring time, increase the test coverage and decrease the execution time. Bosch HMI Test Platform is designed and developed in such a way to provide a very optimal solution in all the expected dimensions.
The first challenge of creating effective test cases are done with the concept of Generative AI that analyze the different Menu Flows, system triggers, user actions and generates use-cases that shall cover majority of the “Test to Pass” and “Test to Fail” use-cases.
For optimizing the Test configuration and reference template creation process, the Test platform uses the design artifacts. This reduces the ambiguity in test configuration and helps automation of configuration.
Execution is the much simpler challenge to automate as the test confirmation is automated, and the environment supports auto triggering of target and auto validation of HMI. The execution speed shall be optimized to avoid unintended waits and 100% automation with 0% manual interventions.
As the validation happens, the complete scenario of use-cases, test environment, target status and actions are recorded for easy reproduction of defects and supporting debugging with critical information.
In a nutshell, Bosch HMI Test platform is “Start of the Art” design that is based on optimal usage of AI, Automation and Analysis.
