Sessions

Architecting the Software-Defined Vehicle – Strategies for Centralized Domain Control Across ADAS & Cockpit

Keynote

Monday, December 08

08:25 am - 08:50 am

Live in Dearborn, Michigan

Less Details

As vehicles evolve into intelligent platforms, the shift toward centralized computing architectures is redefining how ADAS and cockpit domains are integrated, scaled, and deployed. This session examines how centralization and high-performance compute platforms are enabling more seamless, cost-effective system design — unlocking future-ready functionality across diverse vehicle lines.

In this session, we discuss:

  • What are the technical and organizational trade-offs in consolidating ADAS and cockpit functions onto a single compute platform?
  • How does centralization affect system updateability, scalability, and long-term lifecycle management?
  • In what ways are SoC-based architectures enabling smarter, more adaptive user experiences at scale?
  • How can OEMs approach domain integration to support both premium features and broad accessibility across trim levels?
Presentation

AV safety case validation – Applying collision risk metrics

A | Data Processing and Management Track | Case Study

Monday, December 08

10:50 am - 11:15 am

Live in Dearborn, Michigan

Less Details

What tests provide convincing evidence that AVs are safe enough to operate independently on public streets? Internationally utilized standards like ISO 21448, UL 4600, and ISO 26262 prescribe evaluation of risk in order to define acceptance criteria for validation and field monitoring. This presentation offers the Streetscope Collision Hazard Measure (SHM) as a leading indicator for collision risk that can define validation criteria within AV safety cases.

  • Get a better understanding of the development of quantifiable, objective criteria for AV collision avoidance and their role in ensuring safe AV operation
  • Explore SHMs utility in defining and validating AV safety goals, including simulation, real-world testing, and scenario-based analysis
  • Gain insights into how safety validation criteria influence AV operational strategies to prevent collisions in diverse driving environments
