Sessions

Optimizing Future In-Cabin Environments for Enhanced End-User Interaction

Case Study

Tuesday, December 09

09:20 am - 09:45 am

Live in Dearborn, Michigan

Less Details

As vehicles evolve into intelligent, connected spaces, the design of in-cabin environments becomes critical to user satisfaction and safety. This presentation explores the unique nature of in-cabin interaction, contrasting it with traditional computing interfaces. It examines when and where these interactions occur, who defines them, and how they are validated. Drawing from interdisciplinary research, the session proposes strategies to improve integration of end-user needs into future cabin designs, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and context-aware experiences that align with emerging mobility paradigms.

In this presentation, you will learn:

  • How in-cabin interaction differs from traditional computing interfaces
  • Methods to validate optimal in-cabin interaction design
  • Strategies to improve future in-cabin end-user integration
