John M. Slosar is responsible for Wipro’s Global Automotive & Aerospace Product Engineering business and is based in Detroit, Michigan.  He is responsible for the growth, delivery, and strategy of the unit, including the establishment of automotive near shore centers in the US, Mexico, and Romania.  Slosar joined Wipro in 2011 following a career with Ford Motor Company and Visteon where he held several senior leadership positions in electronic product operations.
Slosar's career began as a Communication Systems Engineer with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing), moving to General Motors in product engineering, and ultimately on to his career with Ford Motor Company to positions of increasing responsibility in product engineering and design. His experiences included leadership of Visteon’s premium audio business, their advance electronics operations, and as global product platform director was responsible for the introduction of several generations of audio, driver information, and infotainment product platforms.  Having launched a multitude of new products and technologies in the industry, he is also attributed with establishing Visteon's engineering operations in Cologne, Germany, Chihuahua, Mexico and Shanghai, China.
Slosar has earned a BSEE and MBA from the University of Michigan and resides with his wife Amy and his sons, Nicholas and Andrew, in Bloomfield, Michigan
