Jürgen Schmidt is working as an expert for the topic driver camera at Daimler AG, since 2013. Within his research, he focused on eye tracking and the human behavior during conditionally automated driving. As a researcher he is interested in detecting the reaction ability of the driver in underload conditions (PhD candidate at the Chair of Human-Machine Systems, Technische Universität Berlin). Jürgen Schmidt holds a M. Sc. in engineering cybernetics from the University of Stuttgart with the focus on automotive mechatronics.
