Headquartered in Chongqing, China, Changan Automobile is an automotive OEM. The company operates 12 production locations and 32 automotive related plants. We have approximately 90,000 employees who produce and sell more than 2.95 million vehicles annually. We are also engaged in joint ventures with well-known automakers that include Suzuki, Ford, Mazda, and PSA Peugeot-Citroen. The Changan US R&D Center is a US-based subsidiary, wholly owned by Changan. The Center, which began operations in January 2011, is the first advanced research and development facility to be established by a Chinese automaker in Michigan. It joins Changan's other global R&D centers located in Turin, Italy; Yokohama, Japan; Birmingham, England, and Chinese centers located in Chongqing, Shanghai, and Beijing.
